Mental Health Matters: A Personal Message from Dermot Merrigan
Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet it is often overlooked or misunderstood. It’s a part of us all, but sometimes, it can feel like we are facing our struggles alone. I want to take a moment to share something very personal—my own experiences with mental health, as a way to remind you that you are not alone.
My Journey with Mental Health
As a medium, I connect with many souls and energies, and while this brings immense peace and understanding, it also comes with its challenges. For many years, I struggled silently with my own mental health. There were days when the weight of the world felt unbearable, and I doubted whether I would make it through. But through these struggles, I learned something vital: It’s okay not to be okay.
I want you to know that if you're facing your own challenges, you don't have to walk through this alone. I’ve learned that reaching out for support is not a sign of weakness—it's a sign of strength.
I believe in the power of sharing, and by being open about my own mental health journey, I hope to encourage you to take that important first step toward healing. No matter what you're going through, it’s important to remember that your struggles do not define you. And you are never a burden to those around you.
The Power of Support
Healing is a journey, and it’s okay to ask for help. Sometimes, just knowing there are people who understand can make all the difference. If you or someone you know is struggling, I encourage you to reach out for support. There are people out there who care, and professionals ready to assist you on your journey to healing.

I want to reiterate: you are not alone, and you are not a burden. Whatever you're going through, there are resources and people who care and want to help. It's okay to reach out, and it’s okay to not have all the answers right now. Healing takes time, and every step you take is a step toward recovery.
Remember, no matter how dark it may seem, there is always light ahead. You are worthy of support, love, and peace. You are worthy of taking care of yourself.
Never forget—it’s okay to not be okay, but you don’t have to stay there.
With love and light,
Dermot Merrigan
