The booklet
The Knot & The Rune
What it is, and how it is done
The Knot & The Rune is a circle, not a course. Twenty pounds a month gives you your own twenty minutes with Dermot every month, a Celtic card reading recorded just for you, the monthly circle, his letters on the old calendar, and the whole of the inner room. This booklet sets out exactly what you get, how each part is done, what anything extra costs, and how the money works.

Plainly
How the money works
- £20 a month, with three days free before the first payment.
- No tiers. Every member gets the same room, and nothing is held back for a higher price.
- Anything extra — an add-on, extra time with Dermot, a candle ritual, a metal birth card — is never a surprise: you choose how to settle it. Add it to your next monthly payment, pay for it now by card, or pay on the day.
- Whenever an extra is added to your membership, you are emailed the exact amount at least twenty four hours before it is taken.
- Cancel whenever you like, in a click, and your membership stays open to the end of the month you have paid for.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. Dermot never sees or stores your card details.
Before you decide
Is it for you?
It is, if you want
- Regular time with Dermot rather than booking each session separately
- To learn the old traditions slowly, in your own time, with someone beside you
- A small circle of people walking the same road
- Your intuition taken seriously, and helped to grow
It is not
- A single reading. For that, book a session instead
- A course with a finish line, a certificate, or a set of lessons
- Anyone telling you what to do. The room is for your own knowing
- A promise of anything. It is guidance, held honestly
Every single month
What you get
Your twenty minutes with Dermot, every month
Twenty minutes, one to one on video. Your questions, his guidance and the Celtic cards laid out for you. It comes round every single month and it is included in your £20.
Your Celtic card reading, every month
Free, and yours alone. Send Dermot your details and your question, and he records a private video reading for you.
The monthly circle
A live group video call with Dermot and the other members. Sit in, listen, ask, and be part of the room.
A letter from Dermot, every month
The Celtic and Nordic calendar, what is coming and what it means, written to you before anyone else hears it.
Candle rituals lit for the circle
Through the year Dermot lights rituals for the membership itself, for the turning points of the old calendar and for the intentions members send in.
Members-only live nights
Every so often, an evening that is only for members, sat on one of the Celtic or Nordic festivals: a solstice, a cross-quarter day, a full moon.
One-off videos, just for members
Now and then a film made only for the room: a ritual, a reading, a piece of teaching you will not find anywhere else.
A community of like-minded people
People walking the same road, helping each other along it. You are not doing this on your own.
Your own development, guided
Dermot works with you on your own intuition: how to notice it, trust it, and grow it at your own pace.
The inner room
The Celestial Calendar, the Moon Calendar, the Night Sky and Ogham & Runes, all four and all year, members only.
20% off the skincare
Your own code, made the day you join, for the whole Made by Dermot line: every cream, serum, mask and oil, every month you are with us.
Half price candle rituals
Every candle ritual is £5 for members instead of £10: your name, your intention, and a private video of the ritual sent to you.
Half price metal birth cards
The Zodiac metal birth cards are £5 for members instead of £10, made for the person whose birthday it is.
Step by step
How it is done
- One
You join, and your three days begin
Your card is kept safely with Stripe and nothing is taken for three days. In those days you can wander the room, read the letters and see what the live nights and member videos are like.
- Two
You tell Dermot your details
Inside the room there is one short form: the name to engrave on your metal birth card, your date, time and place of birth for your birth sky, and the first candle ritual you want lit, with the name and intention it is for.
- Three
Your twenty minutes is booked
Choose your own time in the room whenever it suits you. One session every thirty days, on video, and nothing extra to pay.
- Four
Your card reading is recorded
Send your question and Dermot records a private video reading for you, laid out with the Celtic cards. It comes back to your inbox.
- Five
The month turns
Your letter on the Celtic and Nordic calendar arrives, the circle meets, and the members' videos and live nights come as they come.
- Six
Anything extra, your choice
A private reading, the Awakening Class, an extra ten minutes, a candle: each one is offered inside the room, and you choose whether to pay now by card, pay on the day, or add it to your next monthly payment. If it is added to your membership, you are told the exact amount at least a day before it is taken.
Order the booklet
Keep it, and read it when the time is right
Put in your email and the booklet comes to you, so you can read it slowly, come back to it, and decide in your own time. Nothing is asked of you afterwards, and you can leave the list with one click.

Asked before
Questions
What happens when my three free days end?
Your first £20 is taken on the third day. Nothing is taken before then, and you can cancel in the three days and pay nothing at all.
Do I have to be on video?
No. You can have your camera off and simply listen, and your card reading is recorded and sent to you either way.
What if I do not use my twenty minutes that month?
It is one session every thirty days, so the next one comes round with your next month. Write to Dermot if something has happened and you need to move it.
How do the add-ons get charged?
You choose when you book: pay now by card, pay on the day, or add it to your next monthly payment. If you add it, an email tells you the exact amount and the date at least twenty four hours beforehand, and the same notice runs again on the morning it is taken.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, from your own account. Your membership runs to the end of the month you have paid for and no further.
Is this a course?
No. It is a circle you sit in, and it stays open for as long as you want it. There is no finishing and no exam.
