How bookings, memberships and orders work, set out plainly.
What this site is
The website and app of Dermot Merrigan Medium: readings and sessions, live events, candle rituals, birth cards, the shop, and The Knot & The Rune membership. By using it you accept these terms.
Bookings and payment
A booking is held once payment is confirmed. Where a deposit is taken, the balance is due before the session. Sessions are given by video or in person as described on the booking page.
Changing or cancelling
If you need to move or cancel, give as much notice as you can and write to hello@dermotmerrigan.com. Where a session is cancelled with reasonable notice, it is moved or refunded. Where a session is missed without word, it may not be refundable.
The Knot & The Rune
Membership is free for the first three days and then charged monthly at the price shown at sign-up, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your own account or by asking, and access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. The monthly twenty-minute session, the card reading and members' prices are for the period in which the membership is active, one of each every thirty days, by appointment.
Candle rituals and birth cards
A candle ritual is worked personally with the name and intention you give, and the video of it is sent to the email you provide. Birth cards are engraved and posted, so check the spelling of the name and the date carefully; once engraved they cannot be changed.
Shop orders
Skincare and physical goods are posted to the address you give at checkout. If something arrives damaged or does not arrive, write and it will be put right.
Live events
Tickets are for the date and venue shown. Events may be postponed or moved to a new date or venue, and ticket holders are told as early as possible and offered a place at the new date or a refund.
Guidance, not advice
Readings, rituals and spiritual guidance are offered in good faith for reflection and comfort. They are not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, and they do not replace the care of a doctor, solicitor or other professional. You are always free to make your own decisions.
Respect in the room
The members' room and the live circle are places of kindness. Anything shared there by other members stays there.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site grows. The version shown here is the one that applies from the day you use the site.
